The UTSA Pitching Camp is an opportunity for pitchers to develop their craft and showcase their potential. The camp will feature focused instruction emphasizing mechanics, arm care, pre- and post-throw routines, daily drill work, and throwing programs. Catching Camp: Provides position-specific instruction focused on developing complete, game-ready catchers. Campers will train receiving, blocking, and transfer fundamentals, improve footwork and throwing mechanics.

EQUIPMENT
Each participant must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats/spikes (NO METAL SPIKES), running shoes or turf shoes, hat, helmet, bat, batting gloves and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark each participants’ names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.
MEALS
Meals during camp are the responsibility of the camper. Water will be provided at the event.
DIRECTIONS
Camp will be held at Roadrunner Field. To get to the field you will need to take the Babcock exit whether you are coming from 1604 East or West. If you are coming from 1604 East you will go through the light at Babcock and make first right into campus. There are no signs here. It is the first turn available once you go through the light. If you are coming from 1604 you will need to take the turn around when you exit Babcock and turn at the same spot. This is Sam Barshop Blvd. Continue straight on this road and you will see the field on the left side.
PARKING
There is no parking garage adjacent to Baseball field. There is a parking garage on campus for those of you who wish to stay and watch camp.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All camps are non-refundable. Only camp credits will be given except in unforeseen circumstances, such as injuries or other unique situations. Please send your cancellation requests directly to the camp administrator, Michael.cavazos@utsa.edu Your request must be sent 7 days prior to the start of camp to receive a future camp credit.
